Lighting for construction jobsites

Construction lighting follows the build from open framing to enclosed rooms and corridors. String lights cover longer interior runs, while portable area lights and headlamps bring local illumination to installations, equipment checks and smaller repair tasks.

Match the format to the stage

String lights place several light heads through corridors and successive work bays. Temporary overhead lights serve larger interior areas while keeping more of the floor open for trades, materials and equipment.

Portable area lights move to a local installation or repair as partitions and services change the space. A headlamp adds a personal beam for close work where tools occupy both hands.

Allow for repeated moves

Cable length and mounting arrangements affect how lighting moves through a building. A longer run can serve several work positions, while a smaller portable unit follows a task between rooms or levels.

Corded lights return to their cable and connection arrangements after each move. Rechargeable equipment returns to a charging position between uses, giving each format a different place in a crew’s daily equipment routine.
