Ideal for Medium Work Zones & General Hazardous Area Illumination
The 8-Lamp Explosion-Proof String Light system distributes light through medium-sized hazardous work areas. Class I Division 1 (Groups C & D) and Class II Division 1 (Groups F & G) certifications cover its listed applications in oil and gas sites, chemical processing, tank cleaning and industrial maintenance.
Each fixture delivers up to 1,600 lumens from LEDs rated for 50,000 hours. Copper-free aluminum housings have an epoxy powder coat finish for corrosion resistance, with rubber bumpers protecting the fixtures from impact and vibration during handling.
The assembly carries NEMA 4X and IP66 weatherproof protection for wet, dusty and corrosive conditions. Full swivel hooks support hanging and repositioning, while male/female connectors allow compatible strings to be linked for a longer lighting run.
The 8-lamp arrangement serves general workspaces, platforms, walkways, and equipment zones. Several light heads provide local illumination at successive inspection and maintenance positions.
