The non-MSHA Bright Star Freakin’ Beacon 710 Series is a compact personal safety light that provides a steady or flashing signal for personal visibility.
Runtime by signal color
Runtime depends on both the color and mode. Green is rated for 36 hours steady or 144 hours flashing, and Blue for 48 hours steady or 192 hours flashing. Red, Amber, and White are each rated for 65 hours steady or 200 hours flashing.
Mounting options and batteries
Each color is available with a metal spring clip, plastic spring clip, plastic clasp, or magnet. The optional helmet band supports specified clip models. The 710-series datasheet lists 3M Dual Lock and two AAA alkaline batteries as included.
Protection and hazardous-location markings
The 710 Series has an IP67 rating and a 2-meter drop rating. Its datasheet lists the light as intrinsically safe for Class I, II, III Div 1-2, Groups A-D, F, G, T4.
